These ceramics are replicas of Peranakan porcelain wares, with characteristic phoenix and peony motifs. Handmade in China and have good bright colouring and decent craftsmanship.

Tingkat is the Baba Malay word for "storey" or tier. Tingkat is tiered containers and would have been used for foods like achar (pickled vegetables).
